I am at a huge crossroad in my life... I am offered the opportunity to work at either of the 2 countries. Without considering the work itself, I just would like to get some feedback on how living in the above mentioned countries as a working women is... Brunei, i don't think they're Muslim there and Islamicism degrades women in their culture or at least i know in saudi arabia.

What is a Brunei Darussalam? Go work for Saudi Arabia because Brunei Darussalam sounds like an avenue in hell.

Try the Lonely Planet travel guide for basic information. The usually give you info on safety, customs and and other information about the countries. This CIA world fact Book will give you detailed information, but can be more time consuming to dig through.
